Every admission at SGS is granted only after the parent/guardian completes the registration & admission formalities by paying the stipulated first installment fees at the SGS administration office.

Admissions are governed by certain policies & mandatory conditions like student's age, mental ability and good conduct set by the school management

Applications for Kindergarten & Standard 1 MUST be accompanied with original birth certificate to comply with the below age criteria set by the Government of Karnataka

Pre-KG: Children in the age group of 2.9 years to 3.5 years are eligible for enrollment into our Pre-KG or Playschool program.

Lower KG/LKG: Children in the age group between 3.5 years to 4.5 years are eligible to go into lower kindergarten.

Upper KG/UKG: The age eligibility for this class is 4.5 years to 5.5 years.

Standard 1: Children above 5.5 years up to 7 years of age can apply for admission into standard 1.

No student shall absent without prior notice to Class Teacher/School. If such an absence without notice lasts for more than 15 schooling days, this will render a student automatically withdrawn from the school rolls.

Such an absence after reasonable follow-up from school will be notified to the Block Education Officer, Malur via SATS (Student Academic Tracking System) by marking the student as a "drop-out" student. Parent/guardian will be held accountable for keeping a child away from school as per the RTE norms.
